UnitedHealth gifts empowerment to Georgia nonprofits

Across the nation, health insurance providers are stepping up to give back to communities in a big way. Most recently, UnitedHealthcare joined in on the gift giving with a generous grant for Georgia-based nutrition nonprofits.

In Georgia, numerous nutrition nonprofit programs were recently empowered by a generous donation from UnitedHealthcare.  The insurance provider gifted a whopping $1 million to six Georgia-based nonprofits, many of which have nutrition focuses.  Nutrition nonprofits that benefited from this initiative include Atlanta Community Food Bank, Atlanta Regional Commission and CareSource.
