Feeding a family has become all those more difficult in the COVID-19 affected world.  With many people still out of work, providing nutritionally balanced meals is anything but easy.  That’s why nonprofits are doing all that they can to ensure that food insecurity is addressed in a way that takes into consideration the unique challenges posed by the pandemic.

Some recent efforts by nutrition nonprofits include a recent collaboration between KOP Mentoring Network and two youth-focused nonprofits to provide meals to churches and food distribution centers.  KOPMN is also partnering with Joshua’s Heart Foundation and Florida Introduces Physical Activity and Nutrition to Youth (FLIPANY) to bring food to those in need by way of mobile pantries.
